Welcome To CFVF!

The Carolina Film & Video Festival(CFVF) is an independent film festival open to everyone and anyone looking for an audience! The festival takes place once a year at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. CFVF not only strives to give emerging and independent filmmakers their first break – hopefully a springboard to future success - but also to bring the UNCG and Greensboro communities great films not otherwise available. To meet these goals, our program includes animated, narrative, documentary, and experimental films ranging from 2 minutes to 2 hours in length, and created by student and independent filmmakers from around the globe. In addition to our on-campus screenings and free daytime programs. Also, to demonstrate our commitment to North Carolina filmmakers, CFVF includes a designated North Carolina category.

Hey everyone! The Carolina Film and Video Festival site is online! The festival kicked off last night with a big opening! For those of you unable to attend last night, you missed out on a great opening night, the Q&A was enlightening and entertaining, and it was probably the best audience reaction I've witnessed at CFVF!

More events for the Festival start up early today with a workshop at 11am! Hope to see you there!
